New US-Made Rims and Wheels

Post by Oldav8tor » Mon Aug 25, 2025 9:27 pm

Some months ago Steve Jelf mentioned that he'd heard of a company in Florida that made wheels for classic cars. I tracked them down and learned that the owner, Rodrigo Diaz, was in the process of developing demountable, non-demountable and split-rims for Model T's. I offered my help and encouragement and thru this process we became friends. I've shared some info about the Model T hobby with him and tested a couple of his prototypes on my 1917 Touring. I'm impressed by the quality of his products and can recommend them without hesitation. I have absolutely no financial interest in his company. My interest lies in promoting the Model T hobby. There's a lot more to the story but rather than make this post uncomfortably long I have put together a informative pdf which I've attached.

I realize that by recommending a commercial business I may be crossing a line but I feel it important to get the word out. I previously spent hundreds of dollars importing a pair of rims from Australia that turned out to be totally useless so having a quality source of US-made rims can only help the hobby.
