In 1910, there was no income tax or "Social Security" tax. Banks paid interest on deposits. You owned your income. The roads, such as they were, were open to the public, with no requirement that you purchase an insurance company's product in order to use the public right of way. The U.S. dollar was fairly stable... and price of Ford cars was DE-flating at a steep rate!
