A friend of mine has a complete chassis and running gear that he's had for years in his pole barn. He was going to do something with it, and now that he's getting older, he's thinking about selling it. The engine runs sweet, and he said if he made a seat to sit on he could drive it around! It's a 26' and had a tudor sedan body on it at one time, but he used the body for another Tudor project he was working on. When he first purchased it, he drove it all around. I don't think anything has been rebuilt that he knows of since he purchased it 15 years ago, but it always fires right up, with its lawn mower gas tank hooked up, and basically everything is there except the body! My question is, what's a nice chassis and running gear that runs sweet worth like that? I'm thinking this chassis and running gear could be an excellent candidate for a Speedster project. Oh almost forgot, it does have a new Radiator and hoses on it that he installed when he first purchased the car with very little miles on it before he lifted the body, fenders and boards. The Rad goes with it. TIA!

Re: Complete frame/running gear
A complete drivable chassis should be worth $2,000. If it has wire wheels it is worth more. Matching s/n and a clear title is a nice bonus but does not make it worth more.
