Wheel Identification and Cap Location

Post by Petrah Phyre » Wed Mar 17, 2021 10:03 pm

Just inherited a 1926 Speedster from my Father-in-Law. It has these caps on the wire wheels. Looking to see if anyone knows where I can get an additional cap as one is missing.

I wish you luck on your quest... these Ash wheels are not all that common, and I do not believe any reproductions have ever been available. Are these 3 lug bolt on wheels with 21” lock ring rims?

Kevin, They are. There was one oddball cap in the mix of things I picked up and am hoping to find it among the mess of parts. 3/4 ton truck long bed full of parts + and extra frame on the lumber rack. Still have another frame and engine/trans to pick up. A bit overwhelmed with all of it. My wife is buying me a garage to house it all in. She said that one of the extra frame/engines will be HER 'C' cab pickup. Got my work cut out for me.

Brent, Probably, though I would need to know what the relation is. I have lots of cousins, Uncles and would need to know specific names.
