I toured the River Rouge assembly and steel plants in about late 1965. They were building Mustangs, and the steel plant was hot! A great experience. I'm glad that I did it. I drove from Massachusetts to Detroit (Yup, I mean Dearborn) specifically for that purpose. A wonderful memory. BTW: Spel check wanted to change Dearborn to Airborne.
