Post by Rich Bingham » Mon Dec 20, 2021 11:17 am

No wonder I never found one worth saving in my rust hunting days !
Plate is Montana, 1928, can you pin down the year of the T ?

If that guy slips, he might neuter himself.

Wishbone under the axle, that's what I thought too. Maybe as late as '21 ?

She has some hairly legs! Is that an Arizona 1923 plate?

Low radiator, it’s a touring judging by the top pivot mounts as seen on the sides when enlarged. Windshield/frame looks like 1920, tag when enlarged looks like it’s a 1920 so it could be a 1919. Has a speedometer? I’m wondering because of the width of the front tires are those 30x3 wheels on the front?

I'd agree with 1919 or 1920. Low radiator. No cowl lamps, so it has a starter so at least 1919. Early style motor mount (pre 1921?)

Rich I was wondering if anyone that was familiar with Montana tags could pinpoint the tag. I tried to clear it up but it was not very focused to begin with. When I did edit the picture it seemed like a 20, but could have been an 8. Thanks for the ID.

I looked at the face again and that part looks like a woman, however, she is not shaped like a woman and in those days most women didn't wear pants!
Either sex one slip would not be very comfortable and the hood would probably be bent.

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Pretty sure that's a slim little gal, dressing up for the photo in some waddie's shirt, hat and woollies, even mocking his bow-legged stance. Maybe an uncle, father, brother or sweetheart. The hood? Who cares ? It's just an old wore-out Ford anyhow. I do hope she didn't slip !
