Best upgrade yet, better everything

Post by BobP » Fri Mar 25, 2022 7:02 pm

Better than a high compression head, better than a warford, better than almost anything. Apex carburetor throttle, (pneumatic butterfly) 25%-50% more miles to gallon, easier starting, more power on hills, more power on heavy pulls, less carbon in your motor, reduced oil consumption, reduced repair bills, more pep in a sprint, quicker getaway. Fits kingston and Holly carbs with 1 inch carb. Why don't they still make them? It would be a very inexpensive option.

If you fit a longer shaft to accommodate a second device on the other end, would that give 50-100% savings?

These incredible miracle devices would be available to all at no additional cost except for the fact that agents of Big Oil bought them all up and dumped them into the sea in a secret location and then they locked up the prominent European Scientist who discovered the secret molecular realignment principles that cause ordinary low-test gas to release the kind of blazing power previously available only to daring aircraft test pilots using special Army Air Corps fuel!

Caution! Adding three or more of the devices can cause your gas tank to overflow on long trips!

The bad news is that if all cars used these fantastic gas saving devices, gas stations would have to become dumping stations. Every few hundred miles you would have to stop to drain out all the excess fuel. The dumping stations would charge by the gallon to drain your tank. To meet EPA disposal standards, the stations would charge $5 per gallon to haul it away.

I personally liked the throttle plate that would lock closed so no one could steal your Model T!

Harumph!! You kids today!
I put THREE of those on, and now I don't even fill up my gas tank! It stays full all the time.
Also, this thing STOPS all the rattles, my transmission shifts much better, and I have a totally free neutral! Additionally, when I use my lights, the battery NEVER goes down, even though I have gas lights!
On top of all that, my front steering shimmy is gone, my rear axle whine is now just a hum, my seats are much more comfy, and my windshield NEVER gets dirty!
AND, I noticed that all my brass has become self-polishing! Why, I don't lift a finger before a tour! I just go inside and watch Gilligan's Island re-runs, and when I come back out, the car is gleaming!
My teeth are whiter, too!
This is the best $2 I EVER SPENT!

This scientifically-correct device will also house-train any dog of any age... even a wild dingo! Absolutelyy ends "accidents" and eliminates "doggy odor"! Removes mothers-in-law from guest rooms and elimates those pesky wallpaper stains!

Yes but will it evict slimy non-paying tenants from your rental property?
Do it right or do it over, your choice. Drive like everyone is out to get you!

I was going to post that I have had one of these on my T for 50 years and except for the fact it is adjustable and positions the throttle connection 1/4” higher and a little longer, it makes no difference whatsoever. After I read several responses I realized it was not a serious thread, endorsing a miracle accessory that does nothing that it claims. Only what the original one does. I guess the mechanical equivalent of snake oil patent medicine claims. Jim Patrick

Reminds me of all the "You can save up to 40% by switching to our car insurance" commercials.
It is made to appear that I could get insurance with company A, then later switch to company B and then later to C and before you know I would be getting PAID to have car insurance!

I wonder how it works with a water injector? You should use STP in the crankcase and Marvel Mystery oil in the gas and a water injector on the intake manifold. With those three and the special throttle, you could become a source of high price gas for sale to others!

STP is good stuff, but Bardahl is great on mashed potatoes.

I remember the "mini supercharger" That had rotating blades and bolted between the carburetor and the intake manifold. It gave you much more power and better gas mileage!
