I can’t seem to find a way to assign a profile picture to my profile, I don’t see any link or way to do it, can someone help the simple minded. Many thanks in advance

A profile pic is called an "avatar". If you edit your profile, look to the left side of the screen and there will be an option to edit your avatar. It may take several tries, the file size and pixel count restrictions on an avatar are pretty severe. For example, my avatar is 70 pixels high and 70 pixels wide.
