Length Simmons spray needle valve

Post by Mark Gregush » Thu May 16, 2019 9:03 pm

Anyone know the correct length of the spray needle valve for the Simmons type carburetor? Need to trim back a NH needle to use.

Also notice the small difference in the brass rod below the threads.
It probably doesn't matter much, but something to keep in mind.

Thank you! Don't know if the little bit of brass will be an issue, but as it is part of the crimp that keep the parts together I think I will leave it.
