Blockley clincher tires
Before I pull the trigger on a new set of Blockley clincher tires and tubes has anybody have any experience with them? Thank you.
As Tom Sellick told Marston in the movie Quigley Down Under, I told you I dont have much use for handguns, I never said I didn't know how to use them!

Re: Blockley clincher tires
If you buy them in pairs, the cost of each order is so low you don't pay import taxes. I waited until the first order was delivered, then ordered the second pair. That way there's no way the two orders can accidentally get combined into one more expensive shipment. Both times I placed the order early on a Tuesday and the tyres were on my front porch by Friday afternoon. The price per tyre was less than Wards Riversides, but shipping made them cost more because Britain is a lot farther away than Long Beach.

The inevitable often happens.

Re: Blockley clincher tires
They are a dream to fit. The warm weather in which I fitted a second set made them pliable enough that a pair of stronger hands could have fitted them without irons. This set went with Michelin tubes too, as our Australian supplier was out of stock of Blockley tubes. These are really thick, and the metal stem takes standard Schraeder nuts and dust covers.

I really like mine so far, they mount practically by hand. Absolutely do order two at a time, I had a few problems ordering five at once. They get hung up in customs and of course they will extort more cash from you.

Re: Blockley clincher tires
I’m happy with mine, installed so easy I thought I did something wrong. Ordered 4 tires and tubes at once, was close to 1300 with shipping so buy them for the quality because the price is pretty close to say a wards riverside. Bought everything at once so customs was about 60 bucks.
