I think I remember that a wide brake drum can be used in a 3 dip pan. Just can't use a wide brake band.
Is this correct or am I imagining it? Thanks Dan

That's correct Dan. You can run the wide drum, with its attendant output shaft, in a 3 dip pan, but there is not enough room to run the wide band. Besides, that would mean changing the transmission cover too.
