The drive shaft sleeve puller looks in great shape! Looks like it hasn’t been used in years and that’s good and so is the clutch drum puller you picked up. Good finds.

I was happy to find this NOS Reeder low head. Okay, it's not actually that old, but it is in new unused condition. It was on Joe Bell's table.

Jeff: if I’m prying too much excuse me but I was wondering what you paid for the linings. That’s a really nice box.

Refresh my old memory. The engine pan is for the 26-27T’s??

John,
The engine pans must be a transitional thing or a one size fits all replacement for both an NH carb and a vaporizer carb.

Charlie,
Sure, you can ask what I paid. The band linings are newer, there is a Cantex label on the box.

Pan is late 26/27. For both carb or vaporizer. That looks like a real one. Hard too find.

This was my first Hershey ever. My grandparents would go every year, he mostly sold brass lights. Unfortunately health has limited them in recent years.

At 7:15 Tuesday morning I found a rebuilt NH straight thru :)

I too scored a fresh Reeder head! Can’t wait to install it.

Later that day came across a decently priced swivel, mine came loose and hit a spoke awhile back.

Picked up front/rear set of Hasslers

Overall great experience!

Hershey 2024 was great! In the swap meet I was able to collect the missing items I needed to have a complete speedometer set up for my T and on the showfield, our T received recognition for being a 100+ year old car and being part of the show! Do not let folks scare you away from attending Hershey, there are plenty of great parts from some of the best vendors in the hobby that attend. Can not wait until next year!

4 treasures from Hershey in 2024... speedometer swivel bracket and arm... Stewart-Warner 2.5:1 speedometer swivel and fiber gear. And last but not least, by showing the T on the showfield, I recieved an AACA Century Club plaque which acknowledged that I brought out a 100+ year old car to the show!

I also picked up a speedometer tube and cable... one dad has is next to it, his is shorter and may work better for my car and setup. The head and larger steel gear peaking in on the left are two pieces I already had.

Our family also found FUN at Hershey by entering 4 cars into the Friday car show. A 1915 RPU, 1916 Touring, 1923 Touring, and 1965 Mustang rounded out our group and we had a BLAST! This is what Hershey means to me FUN & FAMILY! Was fun meeting the fellow T owners in our classes and seeing all of the other amazing cars on the showfield. If you ever hesitated to show a car at Hershey, especially your T... DO IT! You will have a blast, the Model T classes are right up front with the other brass and nickle era cars, and the crowds of people lining the driveway going in cheer you on. It's so cool! Nothing like it in the world. And don't forget, you can enter your car non-judged! That's how we participated with our 1915 and 1916. This allows you to enjoy the show, gets you a parking spot on the show field and allows you to support the AACA and demonstrate to the general public how cool a model T really is! See you there next year!

Heading into the show... I live about 6 miles away, so we caravanned to the show with the mustang keeping up our tail.

My brother and his 1923. It achieved a 1st and 2nd AACA Junior years ago, and he decided to try for a Senior.

Dad and his 1916. He knows the history of the car back to 1916 having always been in Central PA its entire life. My 1915 RPU is next to it. Originally a touring car, other than the bed and rear fenders, this is a mostly correct for 1915 T. It is however 'wearing its working clothes'

Took advantage of the three T's being together and snapped a shot.

Once again I had an absolutely wonderful time at Hershey. The weather was perfect!

Here are just a small sample of my great Model T parts finds.

I found a straight through NH, a usable NH float, and a small box of carburetor parts that included a Stromberg float bowl cover and needle.
IMG_5308.jpeg
One of my most exciting but smaller finds is this brass stem cover that matches exactly to the ones on my touring. Same amount of wear and tarnish as my other four. I found it in the bottom of a box full of stem covers.
IMG_5309.jpeg
I also found a very reasonable Model T column that I can use for parts and a lot of other non Model T parts and tools that I was looking for.

To top things off, and probably the best part, I had a great time visiting old friends.

As always, the Hershey region AACA did an outstanding job hosting the event. I’ve already started counting the day until Hershey 2025!

That's what Hershey is the BEST for... finding that ellusive part at the bottom of a box. Great score!

Got these plus a couple of non essential items.

I paid $20 for the oil pan cover, $30 for the Scandinavia bands and $5 for the nurse tank. The tank appears to be made from a maple syrup can.
