Hi Eric,
They are not very common anymore but S.S. White & Stewart Warner used to sell speedometer calibration gear boxes that did just that. They
can be made to almost any ratio & can be placed on the drive or inline of the cable. I used one to calibrate a Stewart Warner speedo in a sports
car I built in 1998 that used VW center of wheel cable drive. It would have to slow it down 33.3%?? for a T using the generator to drive it as that
is driven @ 150% of crank speed.
Craig.

That’s what i wanted to know. You are astute
Thank you so much. I saw a car in Michigan that ran a drive off the back of the generator but just didn’t know the reduction ratio or what to do. You’ve answered what i was needing to know. Thanks so much. Brilliant. Thanks Eric
