Re: Factory Photo?
My memory is far from reliable, but I seem to remember that in a previous post the location was determined to be a street in Dearborn.

Re: Factory Photo?
Here’s a 25 T PU that’s supposed to be from the Henry Ford Museum. The article says it was released in late 24. Looks like there is snow on the ground like the one Smith is asking about. https://www.thehenryford.org/collection ... =gs-630789
Maybe the other photo was in Michigan too?

Re: Factory Photo?
John,
Another that appears to be the side view of the same truck as link posted and
C cab also seems to be at that same location. Railway behind photo location.

Re: Factory Photo?
A friend who grew up in Dearborn thinks it's Greenfield village. Another former employee of Ford, can't identify that wall.

Re: Factory Photo?
The Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village was built in 1929, so I'm thinking not. I believe there was an airport on the site before '29.Original Smith wrote: ↑Fri Aug 29, 2025 1:54 pmA friend who grew up in Dearborn thinks it's Greenfield village. Re: Factory Photo?
The look of the wall, and trees inside, has me thinking a park or cemetery somewhere in the Dearborn area. I can't imagine the Village ever having a wall like that around it.

Re: Factory Photo?
I noticed the wall too and its a really well built substantial brick wall. But after 100 years the odds of it being still there isn’t much. Looking at the picture of the TT Truck there is some sort of brick masonry built on the right side of it that could be related to Smiths first picture.

Re: Factory Photo?
A little more of the brick building with a stake-bed
and the pickup in the link John posted, THF. Same
type of curb as the OP photo.
Maybe rear of Highland Park Plant?

Re: Factory Photo?
Various truck photos appear to have been taken from different angles around the
turnaround of the Ford Motor Company building adjacent to the railroad track and
crossing at about 15100 Woodward Avenue and Bartlett St. Brick wall (probably near
Woodward Avenue and along RR r.o.w.) might have been a casualty of the railroad underpass
construction later on. Green arrow: sidewalk adjacent to turnaround drive similar to OP.

Re: Factory Photo?
Good tries, but I agree with Steve Jelf. It appears to be a cemetary or maybe a college? If you look closely there appears to be two buildings in the background.
