Top Bow Rivit

Post by Mustang1964s » Wed Aug 21, 2019 9:17 am

I have a top bow issue that I am not sure just how to fix.
The wood has broken. Now I am trying to find ideas on how to fix, with limited talent and tools.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The only way to do it correctly is to replace the wood. Then drill the hole for the semi tubular rivet to hold it in.

It looks like both bows are broken.

I would not be surprised.
The plan is to replace the wood.
