Turn for Troops

Post by DHort » Tue Nov 19, 2019 10:50 pm

https://www.woodcraft.com/blog_entries/ ... -questions

When I re-spoked my wheels, I gave my old spokes to Woodcraft. They were very pleased to receive them so they could turn them into pens for troops.
I did not have a lathe at that time so I could not turn any pens myself. Now that I have a lathe, I can make a few myself and I thought others of you might like to do this as well.

Thanks for this post. I have a pile of wheels fixing to part out. I will try and get them the spokes. Where did you send/take them? Thanks Dan

They have a Woodcraft in Birmingham and a couple next door in Atlanta.
