Want to install a side mount spare tire "with rim" carrier on the left side front on the running board. Any photos or suggestions would be great. Selling me one even better!
Thanks

Bryan:
I have a cast iron bracket that mounts with the bolts that hold the side lamps on the left side of the model T. It is in nice condition and painted black. I would like to sell for $100.00 plus the cost of shipping. Tom 503-644-9374 You will need to make up a couple of leather straps to hold the tire to the bracket. I can supply pictures if you want.

Not saying it’s pretty or even close…but it sure is extremely functional.
Footman loops on running board…out of view ‘stud’ on the Post that would otherwise be hinged pillar. Rides fine n steady

Re: 23 Depot Hack Spare Tire Carrier Ideas?
This is the way it was done on My 1920 depot hack. two spare wheels and tires complete with hubs and spindles are used as a driver and passenger doors. good for photo ops but not real functional as a door. wheel and tire too heavy. I leave passenger wheel/door off. too big a hassle to deal with on a regular basics. 2 # 1 photos can't figure how how to delete one without messing them all up.

Re: 23 Depot Hack Spare Tire Carrier Ideas?
Back in the late 1960's, I had a Depot Hack made from a 1923 touring car chassis. The body, I think was a Syverson body made in Illinois. I don't know if it came with an under body spare tire rack, or whether the previous owner added it, but there was a place under the wooden body in the back that the spare rim and tire, slid into.
