1914 Roadster top installation

Post by Craig E. Luton » Thu May 29, 2025 9:32 pm

I am putting a top on my 1914 T roadster and would like to know how far the rear bow extends past the tack strip. I have looked at a lot of drawings and found that the 1911 touring extends 4 ½”, the 1912 touring extends 4” and the 1916 Touring extends 4” I have found nothing on the 1913 or 14 roadsters.
Has anyone looked into this problem and if so is willing to help me with a measurement?
Are the 1913-15 roadster tops all the same?

Thank you
Craig

Craig,
The rear curtain of the top generally follows the trajectory of the backrest outside of the body.

Three to 3.5 inches. Drop two plumb bobs from the back bow 12 inches from center and measure over to the tack rail.
