Stewart Speedometer Cable Help

Post by Tbird » Thu Jan 06, 2022 9:42 pm

I have a brass Stewart speedo cable that measures 62 3/4" from end to end including the ends. I'm looking to get a cable kit from Langs for the inside and was curious to know if the 5ft cable is the way to go or do I need the 6 ft? Do you have to do anything with the inside cable to get it together (end pieces)? Does the 5 ft mean its just the cable length not including the end pieces? Anyone done this job that could offer some insight?
Thanks
Mike
