This may have been discuses before but I can't find it.
Getting ready to install Rocky Mountain Brakes on my 27 Touring but first I need to put on new linings, is there a certain procedure I should follow to do this, to me it looks like I just start at one end and finish on the other, centering the lining on the band.
Your help is greatly appreciated,
Bruce

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Re: How to install Rocky Mountain Brake linings
When I reline Rockies I clamp the band and lining to a drum, squeezing it together like they would when operating. After aligning the band and lining I drill all the holes. Disassemble, countersink the holes and the rivet lining to the band from the middle out.
