Helping a Friend with a Promise

Post by Henry K. Lee » Sat Oct 25, 2025 2:21 pm

From years back.., keeping my word to assist in the parts that do not exist. Installing a Vega Steering Box, High angle wedge for the column drop, and custom billet aluminum windshield stanchions. Posting this to show others how to do it. The key in making these, you must use a variable speed metal capable band saw at half speed, canning wax as a lubricant, and patience.

Please Note: Not interested in doing more...., I am just keeping my word.

Nice work. Are they going to be polished when completed?

That is one of the most informative posts here and a long time not only did you show how but you included how and what you used to compete the project. I wonder where you found that cowl piece, did you make it or find a vendor. I have the same wood firewall and would like to add a form bent cowl as shown.

thank you for the post,

frontyboy
