Steve, Those are, I believe, two different brake drums stuck together. Call the Rocky Mountain brake drum manufacturers, phone and information available in the Vintage Ford magazin advertisement. Also, maybe call Dave at Chaffins garage, he got me new linings when my brakes got hot and caught on fire.

Check with the current mfg. Get dimensions. I believe the drums are the same size, just not the preferred cast iron.

The RM drums are advertised as 11 3/4" and the one in your pic looks to be 12" ( the larger drum) I have no idea the width of the cast drums.
Have you giver any thought to having a metal fab shop roll a ring the correct width of 1/8" or 3/16" cold or hot rolled steel that can be heated to
fit over a RM drum so it shrinks to fit tight then welded & machined to the needed specs to match? At least you would not have to worry that it
was worn out?

Maybe the manufacturer’s name is spelled “Sunderland”. I still need one of these break drums to match the one pictured above.

Steve, check with Cattail Foundry. They are Amish, call leave a number and he will get back to you. He has done a couple of parts for me and does excellent work. He is used to working with original parts as patterns. You can find information on the web even a short news article about the work they do.

Why not have them cast like the originals, with the inner brake drum as part of the casting or is that your plan?
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

The originals were not cast. They were steel. A factory inside drum was riveted to the drum.

To clarify for everyone- the reproduction brakes made by Jack Sutherland (prior to the version currently being manufactured ) were supplied with a one piece cast iron brake drum that incorporated an integral small brake drum in a single casting along with the larger diameter drum. This was Jack's way of duplicating the original two piece riveted assembly that Larry is referring to above.
