Michigan Jamboree Update

Post by Oldav8tor » Thu Jun 04, 2020 7:58 pm

Things in Michigan are starting to loosen up and planning for the Michigan Jamboree in early August is going ahead. Additional announcements from the governor are expected in advance of the July 4th weekend and a final decision will be made at that time. Registrations are being accepted and in the event of cancellation, full refunds will be made. For questions feel free to contact me as I am co-chairman. Visit the Jamboree website at <http://www.michiganjamboree.org/> to register or obtain hotel / camping information. For those who like to camp, a new campground in Bad Axe may become available. Email me for details.

Thanks Ed. I hope we get to see you too.

Brian Dowell and I are trying to keep on top of things. We are also very aware of people's Covid-19 concerns and are taking them into consideration. The primary motel is fully booked but we currently have only 33 paid registrations so people have to slow to send in their checks. It would help to know just how much interest there really is in having the Jamboree this year. We've chosen to have a "full-refund" policy so if we cancel or you change your mind there is no penalty.

Right now we are contacting the folks at our previously planned stops to see what their plans are for this summer. Based upon what we learn we may have to adjust our routes or pick some new stops. Nonetheless, it will be a great tour.

Michigan Jamboree, still taking registrations!
