1925 touring windshield oddity

Anyone know when the touring windshields had both the upper and lower sections that could swing open? I thought it started with the 1926 improved model but I was wrong. Anyone know? Was it a Canada thing?

I thought Canadian windshields did it earlier than '26 but not sure.

I thought it was 1923, but I'm sure that one of the experts will weigh in on this.

Rich is correct, Canadian feature. I was looking at the cover of my new Langs catalog, picture dated 1924, and was surprised by the touring windshield beind a double swingout window, but I notice the functing drivers door now too, so, Canadian.

Also, Chevrolet of the same vintage looks very much like the Ford windshield post and had double hung glass. It could also be aftermarket, there were some made with lower section that opened.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas! :shock:

As earlier noted, it's a Canadian Ford plant on the Langs cover. The touring has double swing windshield and drivers door hinges.
