Wonderful Tom! 1st time I have seen a visor on a runabout. The blanket on the hood is great. They are all great. Thank you.

The sixth photo is a Martin Parry wood cab TT with the rear flap rolled up.

I like the 4th photo, where the guy has just broken his wrist from cranking.

I was quite taken by that photo too. I tried to enlarge the relevant area to see where the advance lever was at, however the original quality wasn't quite good enough (and the reflection on the screen didn't help). It did look as if the throttle level was ok however.

What did come out was the stylised 'R' that appeared to be embroidered in the seat. Here's a close up (the same monogram is also on the back seat):

I was also struck by the number of centre-door's, seems more than one might expect in a representative sample?

Tom, what's the history on these photo's? Are they from your family, or local area? I expect there must be quite a tale behind some!

Dallas - Yeah, that sailor's got a lot invested in "accessories" on that runabout, but what he REALLY needed was a new set of tires to replace those "baldies"! Lets see,....windshield visor, spotlight, dogbone & motometer, rear spare tire carrier, parking lights on rear fenders, demountables on fancy disc wheels, and I'm taking a guess here, but looks like a home-made luggage rack with some kind of front fender braces incorporated with it. I'm thinking a couple more "swabbies" and maybe a couple girls rode with him and all that front end "apparatus" was for carrying their heavy and bulky seabags, huh?
