Wards Riversides from Performance Tire Plus

Post by Retro54 » Tue Mar 30, 2021 6:59 am

Been a few years (2018) since there were any posts referencing Performance Tire Plus and wanted to see if anyone has any recent experience with them. The 'free' shipping on Wards Riversides feels almost too good to be true, so just thought I'd see if anyone has had recent positive experience with them as a vendor. I do understand that the "free shipping" comes with a $25 'boxing' charge for a set of four tires, so am taking that into account. I am aware of the other tire vendors out there, just am interested in feedback regarding this one specific one.

Thank you in advance,
Andy

I don't know anything about these tires or the vendor, but I will say if they were ever charging $189 for freight they were ripping people off royally! As I recall the last time I shipped two tires via USPS the cost was about $35!! Buyer beware.

I know nothing about Performance Tire Plus, but when I have bought Riversides they were not boxed, just wrapped in tape with a shipping label stuck on them. The extra dough was for shipping, not "boxing".
