Anyone have a lead for this window rubber?

Post by ecory0 » Sun Jun 27, 2021 5:03 pm

The rear side side windows on the 1924 Tudor are longer than the front windows and I only see the upper door window rubber for the fronts. Any leads on where I can get replacement rubber that is long enough?

Check with the vendors, maybe they get it from the supplier on a roll and cut it to length. If they do have it on a roll, ask them to cut some to the length that you specify. :)

If its just the rubber, a piece can be added for the extra length. It done for O rings in industrial applications. A touch of super glue.

Thanks guys. I emailed Lang’s and they didn’t carry just the rubber. Only the bracket with rubber installed. I’ll have to see who they get it from.

Go outside the box, Snyder's Model A section or do a search of automotive window weather seal.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!
