My late ‘19 Touring top is made of a tight woven material I assume is cotton. Do not know when the current top was installed or if it is correct. To clean I have always used just a damp cloth and the car is stored out of the sun all the time. Is there any particular liquid or spray product that I could use on this to protect it further? I just don’t want to damage anything as the top still has many years to go and looks great. Thanks

I've had good luck with the 303 Aerospace protectant on my tops. No greasy residue so it doesn't attract dust. Give it a look!

If it's canvas or Haartz cloth convertible top material:
There are companies that cater to British sports car owners that sell cleaners, dyes and dressing for canvas convertible tops. Just do some Googling.
My dad has canvas convertible top material that he bought from a convertible top shop and supply in Minneapolis on his touring that he installed in 1951. There is a thin rubber layer between two layers of canvas.
Until he ran out, he used "Top Tite" dressing on it. It hasn't been produced in years but it is good stuff if you ever run across a can of it.

Catfish, I’ve used 303 for many years on all my cars for vinyl and plastic and it is my go to favorite product. This top looks like a more natural material woven so tight water does not go through so I wonder if 303 is the correct product for this top.

I would try this. Otherwise, Google canvas & cloth protectant and see what else comes up.

I wouldn't use Scotchgard.
If it is true convertible top material, it shouldn't need it.
Also, you will not be able to dye it if it becomes faded.

Actually yes it would. Good idea. I of all people shoulda thought of that too...but its been decades since I last owned a boat!
