Re: What was yesterday?
First day of waterfowl (ducks, geese) season here in New Brunswick on the Eastern Flyway. They will soon start their southern migration, smaller birds like Teal first, then Blacks and Mallards and other "puddle ducks" and finally, just before or during freeze up, the divers like Scaup and Goldeneye. Some of these stay around in the salt water, like the Bay of Fundy, all winter. With global warming even some of the geese and mallards will hang around all winter. The sea ducks like Old Squaw and Eider stay all winter and there is a coastal season for them after the New Year. Maybe more of the others will stay to avoid any difficulties at the US border although I guess they don't need to use land crossings which are the only border points that are restricted. Happy hunting to any of you on the Eastern Flyway.

Re: What was yesterday?
Yes it was. So nice today in fact the wife and I took the '13 to Vermilion for lunch. They jist finished a nice new parking lot across the street from it but it was full and we got lucky to get an open spot on the street, all nice and newly re-paved also. Great drive, lunch, great day.Henry K. Lee wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 3:27 pm“Just another day in paradise” since we are reading this and not looking at the roots of daisies.

“Yesterday” was a song by the Beatles
