I am working on a rear drop bracket for my speedster and I need to know the outside diameter of the rear spring mount (the one at the end of the axle). I want to be sure that the bracket will clear the spring when the suspension flexes. I don’t have one of the original mounts here to measure.
Could someone measure an original bracket for me?

I don't understand what to measure and on what year rear axle. Do mean the perch?
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Re: Need a measurement for the rear spring mount
Apologies if I used the incorrect terminology. I am looking for the outside diameter of this part, where the shackle bolt bushing passes through. Based on the shackle and the spring, the part is 2” wide.
