My Hack came with a wiring harnesses that A- for the terminal block to switch is twice as long as needs be, and B- all looms covering stops a good 5” from a terminal.
I can imagine the switch side is OK as the long leads will be behind the Hack dash bracket. The ends at the terminal block?
Anyone have a decent photo of their wired 6 post terminal strip that shows cover length and mounting clips that they are proud of?
Also, on the dash bracket side, if I left a 6” loom length to allow the switch plate to come off for the back screws…think that be a convenient length?
Thanks in advance

Re: Firewall wiring
George, The 22 I took apart had four clips on the firewall. Both firewall to frame brackets had a clip behind the top nut, one in the top center at the radiator support rod, and a shallow clip that that attached on the lower driver side coil box bolt to the firewall. That clip was very shallow and only held the magneto wire coming from the coil box mag post through a small hole to the mag post on the hogshead. My after picture has the clip in the wrong location on the horn bracket. Art

Re: Firewall wiring
Hi Art,
Thanks for that second act, I’ll get around to doing clips latter in the week and follow your comments as yours looks clean and neat.
I have to think a bit about the clips as this one has a second harness set that rests aside the standard loom. (Made up a tar covered cloth loom for left/right/tail/brake/4way) with the terminal block on the sill by brake lever) . I’ll prob mount the main standard loom as you did…and only then figure out how to clip or surgeon knot with cord the fake loom to it.
Thanks again for taking the time to share. Here is where I left off.
