Anybody going to Charlotte Auto-fair this week

Post by TFan » Tue Apr 05, 2022 10:50 pm

Anyone going, I know there is not much T stuff there but it's a fun time anyhow. My buddy and I will be set up in spaces MG 61-62 Wed. through Sat. I'll have some T things, running board tool boxes, pair of springs for Hasslers, and some anti-rattlers + other stuff. If you get there stop in and say hello. Mac that's close for you maybe I'll get to meet you. Jim

Will be there to judge the AACA cars on Saturday. Will do as much wandering before Saturday as I can. Yes, not much early stuff there, but I always manage to find something.

I had considered going but things didn't work out. to much going on at the same time here at home. it is all of 20 miles or so from me. I was near it not once but twice trying to get a few building materials.I finally got me a small outbuilding,10x20 ,for wood working and had a porch and steps put to it today.

Well was it worth the trip? I rode past it on US 29 saturday about 2 pm. Looked kinda sparse in the vender area outside the track , caught a glimpse of some T's and A's type cars out front of the race track on the US 29 side.

Mack, It was worthwhile for me, it was good just to get out and about with car people for a change. I found some T stuff and lots of other stuff also. I also sold some T things, some hub pullers, a battery box for the running board also a couple of air pumps. The weather didn't cooperate though we were looking to see some warm temps but was colder there than it was back in Ohio. We actually ran through snow and sleet on our way back north on Saturday. We will hope for better next year. Jim
