No definitive answer. There were many tire suppliers used during model t production. Photo evidence is difficult to determine if some light color tires were actually white or grey. Early years have more light than dark tires in photos, later years more dark than light tires in photos. The 1917 rip van winkle model t had smooth front tires that were black with hand applied double white walls.
