NEW OLD

Post by Gracie'sDad » Thu Jul 21, 2022 11:51 am

Hi Everybody, This is a "New vs Old" photo of ZINK Motors in Appleton City, Mo. ZINK began business in 1916 in a building built by FORD Motor Co and still operates in the same building today. On July 9th 2022 a photo was taken to recreate the original taken circa 1923. What do you think?

Older picture is older ‘18-‘19 ladder side radiator Fordson. Later pic is a post 1924 Fordson with fenders 😞.....cynicism just kidding.....dealership is to be commended for recreation. Thanks for the pic.

With a little careful computer editing the 2022 photo could look like it was taken in 1924. Remove the modern Ford sign and dealership name and it looks mid 1920’s. Congratulations on keeping a 1916 Ford dealership building in Ford service.
