Re: unknown (to me) wrench
That wrench was used on the old hand switches to tighten or remove the blade. I have 2 like this and one double ended one with a 9/ 16 box on the other end. My dad was very proud to have these as he said a lot of people had the scythe not not a lot had the wrench to go with them. I believe the smaller end was used to tighten the handle.

The tablet keeps putting in words it wants. The word is supposed to be scythe and it keeps putting in switches. Modern technology is not always as smart as they think it is.

No problem. and many thanks for the answer. I did have to read it a couple times, but assumed self correcting type issue.
Now that I know what it is, I was able to google it so see other pictures.
Many thanks,
Bob Alden Smith

Re: unknown (to me) wrench
The first computer I ever owned had an "auto correct" feature. Just for fun, I decided to try it out. I typed in the word "Oleo". The idiotic auto correct decided I was trying to spell "Ohio". I have never used it since.
