Friction shocks on Model T
Can I ask my fellow Model T members. What is the felling on how I want to attach friction shocks to myT. The photo shows a dry fit. I still have to bolt it ti the front axle.

I think you'll find that they are mounted from frame to axle (perch is a ridge part of the axle) . There are several variations in his link https://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/8 ... 1260323226

Re: Friction shocks on Model T
Hi George,
Frank is spot on. Those friction shocks look like Speedway's is the shackle plate with the eye on it from Speedway also? was it a exact fit
to the T shackle?
Thanks.
Craig.

Re: Friction shocks on Model T
Just FYI, trivia and useless information. The Speedway shocks are a present day reproduction of the friction shocks make by Ansen Equipment back in the '50s -'60s.
