A picture of the first Thanksgiving I remember. That is me in the high chair and my grandfather at the head of the table. He actually carved the turkey in front of everyone. My parents are at the left and the far right is my grandmother. The other two are an aunt and uncle and another uncle was taking the picture. Those wine glasses are now over 100 years old and I have them in our china closet! I was about 2 1/2 years of age at that time.

To Mr. Norman Kling,

I love that family picture you shared! If only everyone had a family like that on holidays or even just any old day. What we all might be amazed at is if those wine glasses could talk!!!

Being so cold out they made
the caption read “ July “.
