Ruckstell Question

Post by Plankhill » Tue Mar 07, 2023 2:59 pm

Is the P139 thrust plate interchangeable between the Hal Scott and the Ruchstell? The Hall Scott internal gear is shorter than the Ruckstell.

Dan didn’t you post a picture one time with a scoop on the P159 ring gear support housing that you added for better internal lubrication? Was it brazed on or pinned? Best John

All passenger car parts are interchangeable, whether Hall Scott or Eaton.

The only piece interchangeable between a Ruckstell and Perfecto is the large ball bearing.
