Been ask what does this do. Measure the height of boring tool about the boring bar. Or another way of saying, it is used the set boring diameter. Look at numbers on the Mike. You can see 1.200” as small as it reads. This for 1.125 boring bar. Thanks Dan

Just to add a little more info, this mic is for use on a 1.125 diameter boring bar. It can be used for a smaller bar by making shoes to reduce the diameter of the bridge that sits on the bar. I have one set up this way that I use with a 3/4" boring bar.
