Jalopy Journal has a hundreds of Photos taken before WW2 - history in black and white. Some we've seen, some we've not.

The second picture.
Dosent seem like changing a leaky axle seal would be a priority @ this moment.

:lol: John. many things come to mind in these photos. What is he really doing up there? The other fellow looks to have a socket wrench in his hand.
The license plate is a Minn '12-'13-'14 three-year plate. They did not paint the years in black as they did the other embossed figures. I believe the tail lamp is a brass one making the car '13 or earlier. Maybe not?
Anyway it does raise some questions.

Nice pix ! Thanks Rich. Rare as the '11 torpedoes are, it's great to see period photos of them.

The wreck ? My guess is that fellow is making some preparations for putting a rear wheel back on so the car can be rolled over. Maybe it's not hurt too badly ?

Yes, that's a good one too. AACA has this one called Period images to relieve some of the stress. 497 pages!!!
