1912 Christie fire truck on govdeal.com

Post by Bill Dizer » Thu Apr 06, 2023 6:02 pm

Those of you interested in old fire trucks might be interested in a 1912 Christie listed for sale in the govdeals.com auction website, under automobiles custom classic. Price right now is at $56,000! Plus a percentage buyers penalty. Not mine and no interest in it! Located in Boston, Ma.
The same listings have a 1931 Ford model A coupe, with rumble seat, last running in 1979, engine not stuck according to the ad. Again, not mine and no interest. Located in Waynesboro, Virginia.

That's quite a machine. Way out of my reach.

Jay has as much fun as anyone. And sharing these things enriches us all. He's taking nice care of some cars I have ridden in.
It makes me happy I don't have the responsibilities and worries he must have so I can be happy with what I have.
Thanks for the links to these videos. They are fun to see.

I heard that Mr. Koorsen of koorsen fire protection bought it. I'm hoping to see it in the Indianapolis area sometime with his other pieces of fire department history
