Today is Isabel's 112th birthday!
So what did I do?

I took Clarabelle the '13 for a drive! (Actually forgot it was her birthday tik i got home..my bad!

)Went out with 2 other club buddies..first stop was a donut stop at a fruit farm..then stopped 10 miles afterward in a small village. There a pile of gals came out of this neat old building/apartment on their way to a wedding. But not before the photo-op!

But wait! There's more!!
After the wedding photo op this nice family stopped by to look over our cars. Gave them all the "dope" we could on them. Their 2 kids were real interested. And Champ, Jim Riedy's sidekick Golden Retriever and our club mascot got his share of attention too!
Overall it was a great spring drive--finally! 41 miles, 2 stops, donuts, family car show, pretty gals, fun with Champ....doesn't get much better than that!

It really really was Tom. That 12 y.o. boy even crawled under the car to check stuff out! He loved how the lamps work. A budding Model T'er I do believe!

The 12 yr old boy even checked Riedy's oil and checked the gasoline level on my 23 touring and on Jim's 26 roadster. He insisted on reading the stick himself and wondered why there are different graduation for each car.
It definitely was a great day. My distance for the trip was 54 miles.
I must add to the story that Tim Wrenn is a professional photographer and covered many wedding in the past.

Happy Birthday "Chabela" !
Looks like it was great fun!
Just think, in roughly 4 years, all Model T's will be 100 years old!
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.

Nice! Coils will be back from Brent next week, hopefully then we'll have the wife's car running good enough to have days like that!
