2003 was the 100th anniversary of Ford Motor Company and to celebrate the centennial, Ford organized a huge celebration in Dearborn. A group of seven Model T owners from the St. Louis Chapter of the MTFCA decided to drive to Dearborn to join the celebration. We met at a major shopping center and set out. The trip took three days. NPR sent a reporter to the departure, and this was her report:

The two oldest drivers were 78, Les Flautt from Jerseyville IL and George Clipner from Springfield MO (son of forum member George Clipner). Both are gone now, as is Ken Meek, who died in an accident on a Model T tour in 2011. Other St Louis members in the recording are Dick Lodge, Karl Abe and Kent Gilbane. The unidentified voice urging everyone to stop talking and start driving is Sam Atkinson.
Along the road somewhere in Illinois or Indiana.

...and George Clipner from Springfield MO (son of forum member George Clipner).
You mean dad. The current George is the son. Here he is looking for some small part I dropped at Lake Ozark last September.
The inevitable often happens.
