FS: New 2564E Clevis Pins

FS: New production early style clevis pins with the correct domed head for 1909-1913 Model T Fords, T-2564E. These are available in standard (5/16) and 1/64 oversize (21/64). 5 used per car: 4 brake rod clevis and 1 clutch shift clevis pin. $2.25 each or 5 for $10 plus $9.55 shipping.

Trent, a much needed part indeed! I think the oversize is a good idea too, although I hope 1/64" might be a little much? This part has not been offered since Otis Clinton in Washington State made them 30+ years ago.

Hi Larry,

Thank you. The pins are coming out nicely.

I chose 21/64 as the oversize because that is the same as first oversize of valve stems. If someone’s clevis holes are worn, they can use a valve stem reamer to open the holes up enough so the new oversize clevis pins will fit. The cotter pin holes are drilled 7/64, just like the originals, and slightly countersunk on both sides, also just like the originals. The blackened pin in my photos is the NOS original I used as a pattern for the new pins.

And maybe these will help stop all the frigging rattling of brake rods especially with the RM's!! Drives me nuts.
