Alan, I have never seen a pair of pliers with the script on the jaws. On those I have found it has always been on the handles. Some of the scripts are raised, others have the background stamped down. is the position of the script an indication of the likely date of production?

Still Looking! Using "The 1911 Model T Ford Tool Kit by Royce Peterson" as reference. If anyone has additional knowledge regarding what are the correct tools I would appreciate your input. Thank you

What year would this one be? If you look close the ford logo is on top of another Ford that was upside down. It's a raised Font too.

Have a copy of the Record of Change for the T-1903. Interesting is that the 'screwdriver tip' was on the pliers prior to 1913, so the pliers likely had that tip on one handle for long time, even when the T-1902 screwdriver was part of the tool kit.

Details:

2-2-1913 'change screwdriver tip to 1/32" thick at end from 3/64"...specified length of bevel.'

12-19 1914 'specified trademark script indicated by arrow the location of same.' (don't have the early drawing to note where located)

10-11- 1920 ''change bevel of end of screwdriver tip to 7/8" from 3/8"...specified end to be hardened ....this change made to enable pliers to replace screwdriver in the tool kit...screwdrivers on hand to be used up.'

10-22- 1920 'specified Ford script to be placed inside handle'

7-9-1921 'changed length of handle with screwdriver from 6 1/2" to 6 3/4".'

6-1-1922 'specified part to be A1 indicating alternate design. specified Ford script to be placed on outside of handle.'

6-1-1922 'new alternate design'
1-19-1923 specified part to be T-1903-A2

Found the T 1917 Band Adjusting Wrench, one down two to go. Still looking for the T 1903 Pliers and the T 1917 Adjustable Wrench as per my picture post. HELP, someone has these laying around unused. They will go to a good home.
