Mag Horn for sale Sold

Post by elliott1936 » Thu Aug 31, 2023 3:47 pm

Magneto horn with mounting bracket. The horn is in need of a clean up. I think it works as It make a sound when I touched it to a 12 volt. Price is $75.00 plus the ride. Tom five03-644-937four. It appears to be in good shape with no dents.

Tom might not be good for the horn to test it with a battery.

Just touching it to 12 volts DC should not hurt it. It is just an electromagnet using AC that pulls the diaphram back then releases it 16 time per revolution of the flywheel. Checking it on DC would tell you that the windings are working when you hear the "clunk".
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!
