As many of you already know, replacing your float valve with one of Scott"s will make a huge difference in the performance of your T. I just replaced mine and Wow what a difference. My 26TT with Ruckstell, aux transmission and high speed ring gear in the rear end runs so much better. It will idle slower, shifting seems smoother and I can now pull the throttle wide open. I increased my speed from 25mph to 35mph in direct drive. Thank-you again Scott.

Yep, ditto. Bought two and finally put the 2nd. one in one of my other cars and I agree. It did help Stanley, the Fordor especially since he's so frigging heavy! Thanks Scott!

Larry, I don't know what the problem is, but so far you're the only one to say Scott doesn't reply to customers. I inquired as to whether they would work in Simmons or Wizard carbs as well as NH and got a prompt reply. Maybe your inquiry got lost somewhere between CA, and WY.

I'm so agree with Terry. Scott is one of the nicer guy in this Forum and he's always here to help each other. I would say Larry you are rude with Scott... please, if you have any bad comments about him or other members I would suggest to connect with them in private. Larry your knowledge is really appreciated and staying cool and nice is so appreciated either, I'm sure everyone here have good intend as well. You may have a though day and your words went out in a way you don't want. Have a great T day gentlemen. Scott is definitely one of the good guys. Sometimes he may ruffle a few feathers by saying what needs to be said but I've never found fault with his knowledge or advice. He's definitely helped me out a few times. Ask a question on this forum and you get a lot of answers....some more useful than others..... sorting thru them can be a challenge, especially to a newbie. I've found Scott's advice to be universally helpful, even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear.

I have one of his float valves in my NH and can attest that some of the problems I used to have when the fuel level in the tank was getting low have disappeared. I recommend them to my friends and have helped install a few (using the installation tool Scott sells.)

I have nothing but great things to say about Scott. He is a true gentleman. If he did not respond to you, it was not due to him. Perhaps a computer glitch, or he went on a business trip or vacation, or overlooked your e-mail, which I do all the time, but not an intentional effort on his part to avoid you. Jim Patrick

Jerry. Who would have told Scott that? I was unable to find it, but it is disturbing that one person’s careless comment can deprive the forum and us of an extremely valuable asset. I hope Scott didn’t take it to heart and wash his hands of the forum. We need dedicated members like him and his knowledge. We need to treat eachother with respect and not say things like the member that said we don’t need Scott’s advice. Scott, we do need you and your advice. There are a few people here that no matter how knowledgeable and accurate their advice, it is sometimes delivered with abrasive criticism. That is unfortunate. It is best not to take it personal. I have seen it before, in time they usually come back.

Mr. Conger's advice and observations are, without exception, first class. People with his background and broad practical experience combined with his deep knowledge of Ford Ts and hands-on experience with them are very few. In that respect, he's probably unique.

Scott took the time to provide great advice the other week via a pm regarding a timing issue. It was very appreciated. I have read many of his posts over the past few years.

I hope Scott is not angry with the forum. I would like to see his posts again. A few people have problems with putting down anyone who might not agree with them. Some who have this problem are not even aware that their posts agravate others. If I am, I'm sorry and not aware of it.
