The ONLY Model TT Truck (realy the ONLY Model T)
Me and the wife went to a local car show of about 200 plus cars and trucks. I entered my 1924 Ford Model TT farm truck in the "specialty class" since there was no other place to put it. We were the oldest vehicle there and the ONLY Model T there too. All said and done, we came away with a 2nd Place trophy in that class. We got beat out by a 1969 State Trooper's car, it was really nice (you know "I fought the law, and the law won). But that goes to say the Model TTs and Model Ts, still have it.

Congratulations! You can't outrun the law, especially in a TT.

I’ve found that it’s not unusual to have only one T at even large car shows.

While Model T’s and other antique cars of the T era are still popular it’s a narrower market than it use to be. In the 60’s, 70’s and early 80’s there was more of them at events than there are now. In our area the classic cars are seen pretty often and early V-8’s along with them but nary a T if any. I’m glad the clubs are having tours to further the hobby. The ones I’ve seen are usually in old tractor shows but not so much in a general car show.

Re: The ONLY Model TT Truck (realy the ONLY Model T)
I have hardly driven my truck this year. Putting the top attic floor and roof
on my house occupied every moment since last October 01, and once it was
in shingles, I was under the knife for a long overdue shoulder rebuild. Been
driving it again the last few days. Hauled a load of hay and feed across town
to keep me set for the winter. Moving loads like this always leaves people
drop-jawed, like they fell through some time warp. Today we moved boulders
from a jobsite to an area of erosion along a country road. Saved the taxpayers
a bit of money fixing that and we got rid of the rocks. No car shows or trophies,
but everywhere it goes, it IS the car show ! Back home, I used it to prop up
one of four new matching windows for the house.

More people are doing it today than ever before !

Yes, it is really nice, when an old truck beats out many shiny restored cars.
