Any updates on Steve's condition??

Post by 1925 Touring » Sun Oct 08, 2023 8:15 am

Any updates on Steve Jelf????
We don't all have Facebook...
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.

The latest from Steve's Facebook page:

Am I the only one that misses Steve's posts where he tortures those fake hoochie mama profiles that keep messaging him? I just love the way he bats them around like a cat with a dead mouse. πŸ˜‚
I asked Steve to be honest and tell me if I'm being a pest, calling every evening. I sure feel like one. πŸ˜ƒ But he said "No! You're fine! You're one of the very few that do." πŸ™
Steve really would like to hear from any of his T-friends & family. Here's the nurse's station # again (260) 435-7076. It's best to ask them if he's awake or not doing something important. πŸ˜‰ Imagine yourself in a strange town with only a couple of visitors every few days.

Me, laughing out loud! First I have heard of this, I suspect Steve would be good at such a well deserved "dis".
I avoid FB like the plague. My wife has given into it several times, trying to keep in touch with some (not very good?) family (mine as well as hers). She has had so much trouble from her accounts being hacked and disgusting jokes being played that after awhile she closes out of them again. FB has been NO help correcting the problems, and she is currently in an avoiding FB mode.

I am pleased to hear how Steve is doing every day. He is an inspiration in the best way for many people, in how to live a good life, be involved, eat right, and do what you enjoy!
The world needs Steve Jelf!

I called Steve today, he was in very good spirits and has been making great progress in my opinion. They are awaiting insurance crap to figure out what rehab to go to ..., imagine that. Just taking to him, it appears he will recover from this! Good News.

All the Best,

Hank

I wonder if he would enjoy a call all the way from Denmark to let him know we concern internationally.
But hey - maybe David Hjortnæs already have done that since he's in Denamrk these days with his family :-)

Today's update from his Facebook page:

Selah Wayseer is with Steve Jelf.

πŸ›žπŸ›žπŸ›žπŸ›ž Update On Steve Jelf πŸ›žπŸ›žπŸ›žπŸ›ž
Very brief one, tonight. I was competing with Anderson Cooper blaring on the telly!
Still in good spirits, Steve hopes to find out tomorrow about moving to a rehab. Let's certainly hope so. He needs a change of scenery. I can tell.
But other than that, he's "rolling with the punches - nothing is in my control right now".
That has to be so tough on a guy. Keep sending your best to him.
