That's the plan, Famosa drag strip just north of Bakersfield. First weekend in May. That's all I know.

I just sent my check in for Chickasha 24 in March. Susie Ersland stated they are consolidating the swap areas to condense the vendors into a tighter group. I have always been in the Chickasha North building, but now I will be in the WEST side of the North Building, as the EAST side of the North building will NOT be used for the Chickasha 24 Swap meet.

Now I need to turn my attention to Tulare. Or what will be taking the place of the Tulare meet.

Has anyone confirmed that this meet that people are posting about is to be THE MEET that would have been Tulare? I know the lake has NOT gone down, but I also know that there are no longer refugees camped at the various county fair grounds any longer, and I am wondering if we will be able to use the County Fair Grounds as was anticipated last year, or the Ag Center as was used the year before that? Or has it been determined that we need to move to this new location near Bakersfield for what used to be the Tulare Meet?

I expect there will be some discussion, so I will wait to see what news develops before I make my motel reservations and travel plans.

Thanks in advance to everyone working to make Tulare an event in 2024!
